Mini Biography
The original "10 JOBS" man. Selvyn got into the film and television industry while going to school at Pasadena City College and working at the Good Guys & Tower Records (see what we mean). Having to complete his internship credits he landed a gig working for the West Coast news department of MTV in Los Angeles. He worked for Juliete Hohnen and other producers as a video librarian and assistant editor for a year. Selvy worked at MTV/Viacom for 3 years on many of their shows and later subcontracted out on some of the tour shows (Campus Invasion 03'-04') produced by MTV.
Later Selvyn worked his way up thru the ranks on the crew side as a Electrician, Grip, Condor Operator, Gaffer, Editor, and finally as a Camera Assistant. He joined the Local 600/ Cinematographers Guild in 1997' as a 1st Assistant Cameraman. Selvyn started Directing Music Videos in 2000 for several Indy record labels (Groove Clique, Zoo Crew, Jon B.). Recently Selvyn has been producing independent films and commercials for several top industry directors and executives.
The goal is to open a studio in Central America and continue to produce captivating projects and films.
