Mini Biography
For years Steve worked in San Francisco as an entertainment and music attorney, author, law professor, and CEO of indie hiphop label iihiphop and international music A&R company iientertainment and iirecords. Steve's entertainment ventures in SF included stints in television show development ("San Francisco Live!", "Don't Call It Frisco"), stage show production ("David Hayes as Sammy Davis, Jr."), and various internet excursions (iihiphop.com and Filmspeed.com). In 2002, Steve moved to Hollywood as co-founder of Filmtrax Entertainment, where he contributed his legal and creative skills as a producer and expert in music, publishing, and multi-media, and where he built a quality catalog of film and related properties. In August 2003, Steve broke off to form Cinetrax Entertainment, which focused on financing and producing films driven by commercial music soundtracks. In January 2004, Cinetrax merged with One Roof Entertainment, where Steve acted as Head of Business Affairs and President of Film, Television, and Music. Steve executive-produced Gil Cates' "A Midsummer Night's Rave" in 2003-05, and produced the highly-successful "European Invasion" music event at Harry O's for Sundance 2003. In 2004, Steve co-produced Mark Swinton's NAACP award-winning play "Epahraim's song, together with Bruce Willis and Cedric the Entertainer (among others), and in 2005 he departed One Roof to manage the rock band "ANYONE" and produce the related feature film "Sip the Pleasure of Days", a rock n' roll love story. Steve currently resides in Las Vegas, where he's Director of Business Development, Marketing & Publicity for Vegas Rocks! Magazine, Vegas' premiere rock music & lifestyle magazine, and is also President of Vegas Rocks! Music Group. Steve continues to write, produce, provide business affairs, and do music supervision for a wide variety of film, television, and music projects, and continues to manage music and other talent worldwide, including Sally Steele, Publisher of Vegas Rocks! Magazine and a well-known rock n' roll host and celebrity, and Lez Warner, former drummer of the British rock band The Cult. Personal Quotes
