Mini Biography
Steve Nelson currently resides in Santa Barbara, CA with his wife Janet Walker, a professor of film studies at University of California, Santa Barbara and his daughter Ariel. He has a M.F.A. from UCLA (Motion Picture/Television Production) awarded in 1995, although he finished his work there in 1981 and has since then been mixing sound for movies and TV, including work in foreign venues such as Jamaica, Hong Kong, Moscow, Thailand and Ecuador. He's a member of the Cinema Audio Society (CAS) and has been affiliated with IATSE Local 965 since 1988.
