Mini Biography

Steven Bias was born in Huntington,West Virginia. An autodidact, he began studying music theory and composition at eleven. Steven entered the U.S. Airforce in 1997 and became the youngest person ever to write music for any military band. After the Airforce, Steven began composing music for theater productions and graduated to film. As of 2007, he scores five to nine films a year.

Regularly writes concert music. He has written two ballets in one year.

At eighteen, he was the youngest person ever to write for a military band.
