Mini Biography
Tania was born in Scotland. She grew up treading the boards in theatres in and around Glasgow. At sixteen, she became the youngest member to join the groundbreaking "Wildcat Theatre Company", working with established actors such as Peter Mullan. She went on to work with some of Scotland's most prestigious theatre companies, including Edinburgh's "Royal Lyceum", the innovative "Tramway Theatre Company" and performed many times at the "Edinburgh Festival".
Tania has been working in New York for the past few years, mainly in the Independent Film scene, including the low budget features "Minor Details" starring Peter Saarsgard, "Not Afraid To Say" (winner of Slamdance Best Audience Choice Award), and John Gallagher's cult hit "The Deli" (winner of 12 film festival awards).
While in New York, Tania also performed in Off-Broadway Theatre. It was at the well known "Irish Arts Centre" in New York where she first met directors Jim Sheridan and Nye Heron, with whom she later worked with in the Brian Friel play "Lovers" and in the Indie film that Nye wrote for her titled "Sax And Violins."
In addition to producing the feature film "Progress Of The Sun" set in 1930s London, Tania is also developing a new dramedy for U.K. Television, and her first feature film script set in Scotland.

Her Dad owned pubs in Glasgow when they were kids, her Mum is an ex-model and interior designer. She lives between London and New York with her husband Jon, who creates all the goody bags for the award season events. Although Tania and her older sister Nicola (also an actress) have been on stage together many times, their performance on BBC'S popular medical drama "Holby City" was the first time the girls had worked together on TV, and also the first time they had been cast as sisters!.  ...
