Mini Biography
Tracy grew up in suburban Chicago, Illinois. At the early age of ten he was entertaining customers at various local restaurants as a close up table magician. He did this until he was sixteen when his family moved to Marco Island in Florida.
While attending Lely High School he got involved in theater and soon discovered that he had a good singing voice. He performed in a variety of musical comedies and dinner theater shows. After graduating from High school he attended the University of Florida in Gainesville majoring in theater. After a year there he relocated to Orlando and attended the University of Central Florida. Tracy graduated with a theater degree and a minor in radio and television communications. He was immediately employed by Playboy International as a master of ceremonies along the east coast of Florida. He also performed for a short time as a stand up comic. His next venture was to open Railway Video Productions in Winter Park. Railway was home to many commercials, industrial videos and the children's television show, Alexander Good Buddy's, Good News Magazine, which won an Emmy Award. Frenkel relocated to Chicago after receiving a scholarship from The Second City. His first role in a film was as a dockworker in Above the Law (1988) with 'Steven Segal' and Pam Grier. Tracy's first speaking role in a film was as the hitman, Briggio, in David Mamet's film, Things Change (1988), featuring Don Ameche and Joe Mantegna. In between films in Chicago he taught and performed with several improvisational groups.
He then relocated to a condo in Winter Park landing a recurring role with the Nickelodeon sitcom "Welcome Freshmen" (1991) that ran for three seasons. He played both the male and female roles of Coach Roche and Rochelle. He appeared in many local and national commercials and over one hundred live industrial performances. In addition he had a recurring role as a pizza parlor owner on "Noah Knows Best" (2000). He has booked other television roles including Unsolved Mysteries, _"From the Earth To the Moon" (1998) (mini)_, "Safe Harbor" (1999), _"Keenan & Kel" (1996)_ and many others.
Sacred Seal, just released in Los Angeles under the title _Extreme Force (2000)_ was associate-produced and cast by Frenkel. The 35mm feature film was shot throughout Central Florida. He produced, cast and was production manager for Deadly Species, a feature film based on actual Native American folklore, soon to be released. He is currently working on the Reach Far Films premiere project _Bros, The (2001)_, on which he is the supervising Producer and first AD on the film. He also makes an on screen appearance as a show producer. Frenkel keeps himself busy doing many live events as a master of ceremonies and various character actor roles at conventions. He teaches improv, on camera technique, commercial technique and is an acting coach. He is currently teaching at Zoe's and Company in Maitland.  JIB Arm (EZFX JIB Arms).  ... Ap11-s69-31740.jpg
