No thanks, Olympics.
Colorado is the only state in history, to turn down the Olympics. In 1976 the Winter Olympics were planned to be held in Denver until at nearly the last minute 62% of all state voters chose not to host the Olympics. Reasons cited for the change in plans were cost, pollution and population...more
