Born and raised in Roosevelt, NY, music was the passion of Gemstar\'s heart from day one he decided to spread his wings and join the military. Although he was in the call of duty, his love of music never left his heart. When Gemstar returned from the military, he was welcomed into the Dubplanet family and has begun to place a new spin on rap. Gemstar is a talented artist who is rising above the norm as he places a positive twist on everyday life. It is Gemstar\'s belief that positive music can create a positive mind. As you listen to Gemstar\'s music you can clearly see that every decision has a consequence, and a choice can be made to turn any negative into a positive.
