Napster is a digital music distribution service that enables fans to sample, listen to, subscribe to and purchase from a collection of online music catalogues utilizing a legal platform. Napster’s online music services are offered directly to end users through its website, affiliate network, and partners that have procured site licenses.
The Company also sells prepaid cards through its retail partners and bundle the Company’s services with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners, such as iRiver, Dell, Creative Labs and Samsung. Napster has licensed certain merchandising rights to select third parties.
