Katherine Dee \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"KaDee\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" Strickland was born December 14, 1977 and is an American actress. She was born in Blackshear, Georgia but rasied in Patterson, Georgia were she was homecoming Queen in elementary, middle and highschool. She went to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. During her studies there, she joined the Screen Actors Guild and did a part-time waitressing job at a local restaurant and interned at a casting agency. After graduating from the university with a Fine Arts degree she was schooled in New York City also. In late 2003 she moved to Los Angeles, California. In 2006, she received the Silver Star Alumni Award from the University of the Arts.
