A friend told me that the water level is starting to rise out West... that the ocean is coming up? Is this true?

The city of Victoria just spent a better part of this week putting the beach back over the breakwater after the last blow we had.
Yeah, all you inlanders just sit tight and before y'all know it you'll be sitting on ocean views. Not sure they'll be million dollar views. Ever seen The Day After Tomorrow?
