Should I sell Tom Cruise for $50,000?
|
 Mike |
So here’s the deal. I got an offer to buy my Tom Cruise Weblo Celebrity for $50,000?
As far as I can tell there is no time limit on the offer. So I thought members of the Weblo community could weigh in on the issue.
So what should I do, sell or hold?

It does seem that we are able to sell these assets as I have also been able to buy off other members. Perhaps it's because they are now called Fan Sites. However it turns out in the end it is already easily seen that many sites will be turning a small profit within just months of Building the site proper so that they are able to gain high ratings. With the help of Google, Wikipedia and YouTube anyone can have a solid informative and easily updatable site with an hour's attention. I think that's the best course of action. Who want's to buy an asset that does not show some steady stream of profit? So build away and make WebloWorld a place people look to for quick information. Then maybe we'll see 50K forked over for a top celebrity such as Tom Cruise. Or even Megloman ~smiles~

In case you were wondering Weblo still allows you to buy and sell celebrities.
And if you are going to sell Tom Cruise to anyone it should be me.

The offer could easily be mischievous. Especially since weblo currently does not require you to have sufficient funds in your account to make the offer.
On a related note, it looks like Weblo doesn’t want to allow purchases of celebrities. I question the motive of this move. It will only take away from user activity and take away from incentive to build and develop websites. As far as Im concerned its a move in the wrong direction. What is the rationale of this move?
My two cents...
