What's your favourite Terry Brooks novel and why?

Someone gave me Scions to read long ago and that was the 1st I've read. Then found out there were others before. I remember Druid being my fav. Then Sword and Scions. If I had the time and was a speed reader I'd go back and do it all again before I would start Voyage.

Hi A4astro,
Thanks for the post. The Sword of Shannara is the first book of the Shannara series, of which Terry Brooks is most famous for. You should start with that book. If you like Science Fiction Fantasy..it's a good one. It will give you a feel for what the rest of his books are like.

I guess I agree with the majority. The Sword of Shannara is my favourite, but I have loved most of the books I've read.

I actually liked the recent trilogy, The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara. It brought me back to the world of Shannara.

It would have to be The Sword. It's always the first if I've read a series. Or why would I read the whole series? :p
