Over the past decade the Pirates have been a great disappointment. We bring in young players, work with them, make them good, then trade them. Maybe with a new manager this will change. I have noticed that they are not watching the pitch count quite as closely this season.
Just like every Pittsburgher, I want the Pirates to succeed, however I believe the only shot at a pennett recently was the Van Slyke, Bonds, and Bell era, even though that has been about 10 years or so.
PNC Park is a beautiful park, probably one of the best in the league, and not a bad seat in the house. Plus the food is great too, may I recommend the new Pirates taco, or the crabcakes. Good stuff. Don't forget to stop by McFadden's, Primanti Brothers, or Maroney's on your way out.
The Pirates started out well this season, but look who they played. The Astro's looked like the local little league out there.
Go Stillers. Go Pen's. Go Bucco's

They started out 3-0 but now at 3-2. Well, at least there is hope of a .500 season or better this year. What is the tally up to now? Is it 12 straight losing seasons? Can't keep track of them all.
