John knows his own mind, an apparent scarcity anymore. He told the label to pack it in their @$$ with that "Cougar" marketing bit, good to hold your head up in the mirror by passing up the Megabread, but hard to justify yourself to those that depend upon you. Luckily the DJ's ( who make squat ), recognised the talent and got him enough airtime for the people to hear. A lot less meddling from above when you're ringing the register.
