Ciara Poses Nude For Vibe

Ciara has found a failsafe way to focus attention on her forthcoming third LP, Fantasy Ride: The singer appears nude (albeit with parts of her body strategically covered) on the cover of the October issue of Vibe magazine.

And the revelations don’t end there: The 22-year-old singer — who has been rumored to be romantically linked with 50 Cent — also talks about fame and her love life in the magazine, which hits newsstands on September 16.

According to a press release, Ciara addresses her relationship with 50 in the article, but we guess we’ll have to wait till the magazine arrives to find out what she said! She did, however, confirm that she and producer Jazzy Pha are no longer an item.

The singer also divulged her motto when it comes to dating: “You don’t have to sell yourself out,” she said. “Take your time to get to know somebody before you involve the physical aspect … it’s just not the way to start off. It creates confusion.

“When you subtract those things,” she continued, “it allows you to focus more on who the person is.”

The singer also provided some info about her forthcoming new LP, which she described as more eclectic than her previous efforts, and noted that some new producers came on board. “You’re gonna get more attitude, more aggressiveness — everything is intensified,” she said. “You get your sensual vibe. You’re gonna get the street, you’re gonna get the ‘hood.”

Ciara also talked about dealing with public scrutiny — including a bizarre rumor she heard that the Vibe cover should put to rest once and for all. “I was meticulous about the things I would share, but people are gonna say what they wanna say … they said I was a man!” she laughed. “It doesn’t get any worse than that.”

Ciara will be a presenter at Sunday’s Video Music Awards, along with Lindsay Lohan, Scarlett Johansson, Olympian Michael Phelps, “High School Musical” stars Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, and many more!

Ciara Signs Deal With Wihelmina Modeling Agency

Fresh from print modeling stint for Jay-Z's Rocawear line, Ciara has signed a contract with modeling agency Wilhelmina in an effort to book even more print gigs, reports Billboard.biz.

Wilhelmina will focus on casting the artist in both clothing and fragrance campaigns, according to the singer.

After taking two years off since her sophomore album Ciara: The Evolution, Ciara is back in the studio working on her newest release Fantasy Ride. The title itself explores an innovative process Ciara has taken in developing her latest project, in where she plans to have three separate discs, each with different themes.

The first disc, Groove City, will provide slower songs with intimacy in mind. On Crunktown, Ciara has expressed the vibe as more club-conscious to the former. On the last disc, entitled Kingdom Of Dance, she will feature up-tempo records that give her more creative freedom. All together, the album itself will be between 15-18 tracks long.

Along with her albums’ tentative fall release, Ciara will also be making her theater debut in the off-Broadway now-turned movie Mama I Want To Sing! Co-starring alongside Lynn Whitfield and Patti LaBelle, Ciara plays the character Amara Winter, a young aspiring singer who finds herself split between the gospel of her family and the success of mainstream celeb-life. The movie hits theaters October 10th through 20th Century Fox.

Ludacris and Ciara are joining forces to raise money for AIDS research.

On April 24, the rapper will host a $100-a-plate benefit at his new restaurant, Straits, in Atlanta.

Afterwards, he and R&B;singer Ciara will hit the Ralph Lauren store for an exclusive shopping event at Atltana’s Lenox Square Mall.

Athough Ludacris has been swamped recording a new album, he says, "I’m happy to take one day out of my busy schedule to handle my other responsibilities.

“I want to touch the people before I get back on the music grind, and this is a way for me to do just that," he adds. "The community and making a difference will always be a part of my life, and I wouldn't have it any other way.”

Last year, his fundraiser raised more than $200,000 for the Ludacris Foundation
