NAOMI CAMPBELL TO GUEST STAR ON 'UGLY BETTY': Supermodel will be featured on season finale.
Naomi Campbell will make a guest appearance in the second season finale of ABC's hit comedy 'Ugly Betty'.
According to Fox News, a representative for ABC has confirmed that Campbell will play herself in the show.
Speaking to the American Associated Press, 'Ugly Betty' actress Becki Newton said: "She's going to be in our last episode, which is exciting".
She added: "I've personally requested that I don't stand next to her because Amanda [Newton's character] would not like to be seen with such a tall, pretty person."
Newton, who plays receptionist Amanda Sommers, was unsure whether she would share scenes with the 37-year-old supermodel.
Campbell was originally announced as a guest star last year but didn't appear in the first season or the beginning of the second season, which was cut short because of the writers' strike.
Previous 'Ugly Betty' guest stars have included Victoria Beckham and Gene Simmons, who played himself and was revealed to be Amanda's father.
Newton said the Kiss musician would reprise his role in an upcoming episode.
ABC has already confirmed that the series will return for a third season

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
A rep for Naomi Campbell is defending the supermodel, in the wake of her arrest at London’s Heathrow Airport earlier today.
“Naomi was flying to Los Angeles for a memorial service on Thursday, April 3. She arrived at Heathrow Terminal 5 in plenty of time, checked her two bags in and was told they would make the flight,” Naomi’s rep, Jeff Raymond, said in a statement to Access Hollywood.
“Once on the plane, she was told one bag could not be found and was missing. [British Airways] decided to resolve this by insisting she leave the flight and then called the police to forcibly eject her from the flight,” Raymond’s statement continued. “She was taken to the Heathrow Police Station and released on police bail.”
Campbell was arrested at Heathrow airport sometime after 4:30 PM local time, on Thursday.
Britain’s Sky News claimed a source told them that Campbell was held for a time on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
Passengers claimed the 37-year-old supermodel was aggressive, rude and abusive to flight staff during the incident, the UK’s Press Association reported.
Campbell was cuffed while on the plane, witnesses said.
The supermodel is not the only passenger to have been caught up in a baggage crisis at Heathrow.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, over 20,000 bags have gone missing from Heathrow’s Terminal 5, a terminal served exclusively by British Airways.
“So far as we are aware [British Airways] have still failed to offer any explanation as to why her bag went missing at Terminal 5,” Campbell’s rep added

Supermodel Campbell: "I'm boycotting British Airways"
|
| British supermodel Naomi Campbell claimed she is boycotting British Airways that reportedly banned her for life earlier this month due to its "complete disrespect for the passengers," according to media reports Friday.
The 37-year-old supermodel was arrested on a plane at Heathrow Airport last Thursday after spitting on an airport officer who was attempting to intervene in a row over a missing piece of luggage.
Campbell was removed from the plane in handcuffs and later was freed on bail without being charged.
As a result, B.A. reportedly banned Campbell, who "has been flying with British Airways for nearly 30 years and has been a good customer."
While the airline never officially confirmed the ban, Campbell has been talking to the Brazilian media that B.A. is desperate to have her back on board.
"Someone from B.A. called me and asked that I return to fly with them, but this will not occur so early," she said Wednesday.
Campbell said she's boycotting the airline on behalf of "all those who have been disrespected."
"They didn't find my bag-said it wasn't in the system-and there was a complete disrespect for the passengers."
"I am not speaking for myself. I am speaking for all those who have been disrespected

Naomi Campbell says slur sparked air rage
LONDON (Reuters) - British Airways rejected claims of racism on Saturday after supermodel Naomi Campbell, who pleaded guilty to assault in a foul-mouthed "air rage" incident, said she was likened to a black "Golliwog" doll during the flight.
BA said it did not accept the accusation made by Campbell, who was convicted of assault on Friday and sentenced to 200 hours of unpaid community work, that someone on the flight called her a "Golliwog supermodel".
"British Airways does not accept any allegations of racism," the airline said in a statement. "We are proud of our diversity.
"We have strict policies concerning dignity at work and have long-standing training programmes on diversity and inclusion."
Campbell, 38, told Sky News in an interview that her flash of air rage, in which she assaulted two police officers, swore repeatedly and screamed abuse at the captain of the Los Angeles-bound BA flight, was partly prompted by racist comments.
"I was called a racial name on that flight and that was part of my reaction," she said. "I was called a 'Golliwog supermodel' -- I don't think that's really fair, do you?"
Asked who had used the term, which refers to a black rag doll from children's literature, Campbell said: "Someone on the flight, not the passenger."
During Campbell's court case, prosecutors said Campbell ordered the airline captain to find her missing luggage and became violent when police tried to escort her off the aircraft.Naomi Campbell Naomi Campbell always walks tall. As one of the few black faces in modelling?- and a supermodel at that - she takes her status seriously. The Nineties may have been her heyday but she's never really given up the day job and she's more in evidence than ever with her booming journalism, charity work and effervescent personal life. ? • Born in 1970 in Streatham, South London • By August 1988, she had been on the cover of French Vogue as the publication's first black cover girl and starred in campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Francois Nars, Lee Jeans, Olympus and Versace • She has also starred in pop videos for Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin and George Michael • In 1994, she published a novel, Swan, and released an album, Babywoman - although neither to high acclaim • Attended an anger management course in Arizona in the autumn of 1999? ? Naomi Campbell appeared in an anti-fur poster campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PeTA) in 1997, only to be seen several months later sporting a fur coat on the catwalks in Milan.
She has been romantically linked the likes of Mike Tyson, Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro, Eric Clapton, Adam Clayton, Flavio Briatore and Joaquin Cort鳠in the past - and was once quoted as having claimed that she "made half of them famous". ? Although she admitted that the Daily Mirror was right to say that she had long battled with drug addiction and was attending Narcotics Anonymous meetings, she objected to the intrusive nature of the coverage, claiming that it interfered with her right to privacy. After 2004's high profile court battle?- everyday of which Naomi show off her fashion credentials in serious style outside the court building - the judge eventually ruled in her favour and she won what was seen as a significant victory for privacy-seeking celebrities everywhere. ? In 2007 she completed community service in New York for an assault on her assistant. ? In 2007 Naomi designed a T-shirt with Burberry and put on a star-studded fashion show during London Fashion Week to raise money for victims of the UK floods. She also interviewed Venezualan President Hugo Chavez for GQ. She continues to be vocal about racism in modelling. Naomi Campbell charged with assault
Naomi Campbell has been charged with assaulting two police officers at Heathrow's newly-opened Terminal 5 last month. Ms Campbell, 38, was arrested in April after she boarded a plane for Los Angeles. As she was removed from the flight after a row over missing luggage, she is said to have assaulted two officers.

Yesterday, she answered bail at Heathrow police station and was charged with five offences. She is accused of three counts of assaulting a constable, one of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and one count of using threatening, abusive words or behaviour to cabin crew. Each of the police assault allegations carries a maximum sentence of six months' imprisonment.
The model is due to appear at Uxbridge magistrates' court on 20 June. As she left the police station yesterday morning, Ms Campbell refused to speak to reporters. Her lawyer Simon Nicholls read a statement, saying: "Ms Campbell is bitterly disappointed that the prosecutors have advised her she is to be prosecuted for various offences. She respects that decision and hopes this matter is dealt with expeditiously."
Ms Campbell was one of the many passengers caught in the chaos at the opening of Heathrow's Terminal 5. British Airways is said to have lost the bags of 19,000 people, although it is believed the model was the only one of the thousands who were affected that was arrested.
