Miley Cyrus gives a peek inside her "beachy" bedroom and "very girlie" dressing room in her parents’ North Hollywood home in the new InStyle.

"One of my favorite rooms is my dressing room," Cyrus says of the room's hot pink walls and black crystal chandelier. "I wanted it to be very girlie and fashiony, kind of like a boutique."

The eight-page spread also features a glimpse into the family's living room – complete with zebra striped armchairs – and kitchen in the 9,000 square foot Mediterranean style home.

"I like the house to be an escape from the insanity that is outside," says Miley's dad, Billy Ray.

A smiling Miley is pictured testing out the pink rollerskates Dad bought for her 15th birthday (her name is airbrushed on the side), but she admits to the magazine that sometimes even a superstar’s confidence can wane.

Would Miley Cyrus really dump Hannah Montana?  The series from Disney took little Miley from the young unknown daughter of former country music sensation Billy Ray Cyrus to a household name and one of the biggest touring acts in world history.  The series has helped her sell out concerts in record time and it is impossible to get tickets to her shows without paying huge fees to ticket scalpers.



Hannah Montana, will she really give up all of that to become a more "mature" performer?  And would it even work?  There are some sources that are citing a "Disney insider" that says that Miley has "outgrown" the role of Hannah Montana ate the ripe old age of fifteen and the claim is that she is ready to move on and dump the character.


This sounds a bit off.  She still is very young and her audience is even younger.  In fact, when she tried to grow up too fast she was criticized by many of her fans when a bunch of racy photos of a scantily and underwear clad Miley hit the World Wide Web.  many parents were outraged that their daughters' favorite star was showing too much, too soon.

I would think it would be wise to be very skeptical of Miley giving up on Hannah Montana anywhere in the near future.  At some point she will outgrow the role, but at fifteen, she is lucky to have that vehicle to boost her already high flying career.

Hannah Montana is an Emmy Award-nominated American television series, which debuted on March 24, 2006 on Disney Channel. The series focuses on a girl who lives a double life as an average teenage school girl named Miley Stewart (played by Miley Cyrus) and a famous pop singer named Hannah Montana at night, concealing her real identity from the public, other than her close friends and family.

On April 9, 2008, it was announced that Hannah Montana would return for a third season in 2008.
