Anthony NotoUniversity Wire11-13-2007(Daily Targum) (U-WIRE) NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. -- After eating 11 dumplings in less than two minutes, Rutgers University student Jeffrey Yeung walked away with a new title -- and a new silver Apple iPod nano.

A crowd of more than 200 students packed to the foot of the stage, cheering on 16 competitive eaters Sunday in the Multipurpose Room of the Busch Campus Center.

Yeung, a Cook College junior, was the eating champion, while Rutgers College sophomore Lawrence Kim finished second, winning a $30 gift certificate to Mahzu Japanese Restaurant in Matawan.
