As of July 7th, 2008, TwoBlueStars.com is NOW Two Blue Stars. Rio's floral design studio is now open. And Rio is now doing business under the name of Two Blue Stars from here on out. The website has been updated and more changes are to come, where you can see more designs, ordering arrangements and scheduling consultations for weddings, special events, and interior home decor accents, are being done voice or electronic communications, for the bay area. Coming soon, ordering online from anywhere in the world...
Rio is currently employed by Self (twobluestars.com) as a Floral Designer/Entertainment Coordinator. Prior to joining Self (twobluestars.com), Rio worked in a variety of management and individual contributor positions at companies including Gap, Inc, Cheesecake Factory, Century 21 and Vox Vodka.
Rio attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1988-1989 at the age of 18, under his original birth name. He also has attended Columbia College briefly, to study Music Theory, College of DuPage to study Russian Language and Culture. In 1992-1994, Rio travelled three times to Siberia (Novosibirsk, Russia) as part of a Music Ministry for his church, and as a musician to compose and perform with Novosibirsk native, Dmitri Fomine. In 2007, he went back to school at City College of San Francisco's Floristry Department. Currently, he is on a hiatus due to health issues but will be taking a Japanese Floral Design class, while he implements and officially begins conducting business as a Freelance Floral Designer.
Rio was born in Chicago, Illinois. He is Single but in a committed gay relationship and soon to be married finally in California this year. He has no children but does care for his fiance` and his two black cats.
