Help!! I've spent 1000$ on Weblo!!!

By:  BAVARIA -- Apr 29, 2007 02:04:34  Category: Goals, Plans, Hopes
Well, a little crazy I must confess...especially since I am a student and this is all money I could use for...well...very expensive drinks in London nightclubs, shopping or other more or less useless stuff...but THIS is an investment for me! I honestly think this has some potential, maybe even great potential, as numbers grow...could become a second Secondlife;-)) Any thoughts on that? How much did you spend/ do you intend to spend? Isn't it addictive??

True enough. I am in on the second wave and am in well over a $1000. Plan to invest more. Weblo will come of age within a year or two and this place will be incredible. Looking forward to new tools and site building stuff. This will ultimately be a fantastic and highly populated web area.

that's right what you point out Industry! I could easily sell all my cities to new members now at 10$, making an easy profit of 100% in 2 months...but i won't LOL not before we reach 1m members!!

you are so right tintagel!!just imagine, we have some 20,000 members right now, when that number increases a hundredfold to 2m, not only will all the cities in the world above 10,000 inhabitants be sold, but as you said people will register individual places, houses, businesses and also trade them....2$ for Charly's Bar will not be enough then, if they want to advertise (and they will want to, because at that stage weblo will have had mainstream media coverage) they will have to make a deal with the clever guy who bought Charly's Bar before for 2$...reselling for 10$, 20$ or so...and the mayors and governors will have a big smile:-) All the best with your assets and webo life!!!

Hey Troopi, this is where it's going: online virtual world where the real estate trades in a similar way to a stock exchange, except we buy assets instead of shares. The sooner members put some money into their investment account, and create a vibrant collection of assets, the sooner they will start to reap the rewards. Those who come later will find that there are little or no unregistered cities and states, and that's when the established players will make some real money by selling some of their assets to the newcomers. That will also be the time when individual properties will begin to be registered in large numbers by people with access to the local content needed to make them successful in turn. Empire building is very addictive - best of luck with yours!
