A Stunning View
Café des Eclusiers is a seasonal restaurant and bar open from May 1 to September 30 that has provided Montreal with one of its best terraces since 2003. Located in the Old Port, Café des Eclusiers is just far enough from the tourist hustle and bustle, but just close enough to all the action to have a terrific view and a hip clientele. The view from the Café is spectacular: the Old Port and the Montreal skyline on one side, with the stunning architecture of the historical silos and canal on the other.

A Classy Lounge Vibe
The minimalist Zen-style décor inside features huge windows, providing more stunning vistas for those who want to sit and enjoy the more intimate surroundings indoors. A suspended catwalk makes this lounge especially unique. Young professionals around the area flock to Café des Eclusiers for cocktail hour and a light evening meal after a hard day’s work. Music at the Café can include house DJs, jazz Latin, lounge and electronic, depending on the night.

Light Summer Snacks
While sipping on sangria, you can enjoy a variety of appetizers and tapas from the menu. The food is light and summery, the drinks are fun and fancy and are a perfect companion to the sunshine and laid-back lounge music. Café des Eclusiers used to be a snack bar, and maintains some of that function, serving ice cream and other treats, along with its simple yet sophisticated menu. Café des Eclusiers is an ideal way to experience Montreal in the summertime!
