Edelbrock Unveils 347cid Small-Block Ford Crate Engines

TORRANCE, CA - A new line of Edelbrock crate engines are now available for Ford enthusiasts. Edelbrock's RPM 347s deliver up to 449 horsepower and 417 ft./lbs. of torque. These 347 cubic-inch engines are brand new and feature a 4.030" bore x 3.400" stroke combo and are built from 8.2" deck height Ford Racing BOSS block, forged steel crankshaft and connecting rods and forged aluminum pistons.

The heart of the performance is Edelbrock's Total Power Package combination of roller camshaft, Performer RPM or RPM Xtreme cylinder heads, RPM intake manifold and carburetor or Pro-Flo XT fuel injection. Like all Edelbrock crate engines, these Ford packages deliver a street-friendly balance of broad torque and high-end horsepower on pump gas.

Additional qualities include Edelbrock 1.6:1 roller rockers, MSD or Mallory distributor and Milodon oil pan. Options include finish (cast, polished or EnduraShine), water-pump (left or right hand inlet) and oil pan style (front or rear sump). PRO-FLO XT MANIFOLDS

Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT is engineering at it's finest with the introduction of a new line of EFI intake manifolds. The Pro-Flo XT intakes utilize a large plenum and long tapered runners to deliver maximum horsepower and broad torque throughout the rpm range (1500-6500 rpm). These universal intakes are designed for use with virtually any fuel injection system. A new front mount 90mm throttle body feeds the intake all the air it needs for maximum performance. These intakes feature machined fuel injector bosses to properly position the fuel injector for optimum performance. Matching fuel rail kits are offered to provide a complete bolt-on EFI intake package. Aesthetics were also a major consideration in the design, offering enthusiasts custom looks and choice of as-cast aluminum or black powder coated finish with contrast machine.
