Republic Plaza Description
The winner of the FIABCI Best Architecture Award in 1997, the Republic Plaza in Singapore is a magnificent structure. Designed by Kisho Kurokawa Architects & Associates, the tower has a height of 280 meters, the highest possible height under the air-traffic control restriction of Singapore. In order to maintain a fine, ocean view from the upper floors of the office tower, the axis of the tower is turned by 45 degrees from the axis of the ground floor level.
The high-rise building is adjacent to Raffles Place in the central business district of Singapore. At the top of the tower there is an executive club and other elite facilities.
