Located in the dry, arid climate of Eastern Washington, The Gorge Amphitheater boasts temperatures that reach into the mid-nineties during the day and cooling down to the mid-sixties during the nighttime, making the weather ideal for concerts. Featuring sweeping views of the Columbia River Gorge and arguably the most beautiful sunsets in Washington state, The Gorge Amphitheater in George, Wash is one of the premier outdoor concert locations in the country. Despite the Gorge's size, there are no bad seats in the house as the ground is sloped downwards everywhere at the arena. Concertgoers can either sit or stand on the huge grass hill or stand on the concrete lower area for a close-up view of the bands.
