Owner's Message Expand/Collapse
Beverly Municipal Airport was built in 1928, a joint venture of the Beverly Aero Club and the Beverly Chamber of Commerce. The city assumed ownership shortly thereafter. During World War II the U.S. Navy operated the airport under a joint agreement. In 1950 the airport was returned to the city.

Beverly Municipal Airport War Memorial
This Memorial on the east side of the airport is open 24/7. The Memorial was built in 1997 to honor the nine men from Beverly, who gave their lives serving this great country in Viet Nam. This Memorial consists of a Vietnam War era Huey helicopter on a pedestal over a large granite monument with the names, rank and military branch inscripted upon it.
