Genoa City

 The steamy hot Soap Opera The Young and the Restless has shared it's hometown for 35 years with Genoa City, but little else. There is no need for a weather sticker here, 110 degrees should cover the bedroom, -35 should cover the boardroom.



 Australian Cane Ashby, who is played by Daniel Goddard, took a job as a bartender in Genoa City and all hell broke loose. Amber, Adrienne Frantz, targeted him for marriage after finding out he was Kay Chancellor's grandson. Amber's deceptions  are quite clear and have been revealed Cane ends it, but one must ask why?

 

So which is better the sex and the lust or the quaint sleepy town?

Genoa City, the real town that is  was originally purchased from the Government in the 1840's and settlers paid $1.25 an acre for the 23 original lots. The 2500 residents that make up Genoa City today enjoy a few more amendities than those original settlers, but have little in common with the those hot and steamy Y&R;cast members.
