Grand Ronde Description

This tiny community of about 300 people in Polk County is the world-famous home of Spirit Mountain Casino, the leading tourist attraction in Oregon. Each year, Grande Ronde (Grande Ronde in French) hosts over 3 million visitors.

Originally, the community was the headquarters of the Grand Ronde Indian Reservation. Today, it is home to The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, who operate both the casino and other enterprises to provide economic self-sufficiency to the Tribes.
