When I was making this page I searched the internet for information on this city and all I found was a blog from a Canadian that went to teach in this city. I have included it for reference but if anyone else has ever been here, I'd appreciate some information. Thanks
Before going here i tried to find out what this place was like but honestly there is not one site on the net that has any information on this city, nothing that i found anyways, so if you run into this because you are thinking of going to teach there, then e-mail me, you will probobly be going to work for the same person as i was...and you should know more things before you go....
I lived here from Sep 2004 untill December 2004, I didn't really like this city at all, to visit would of been cool but to live not really. We did however meet some really good people. Many of the people here have never seen a foreigner so when you are walking down the street they will just stopwhatever they are doing and stare as long as they can. When the main supermarket closes at 10pm, all the streetsclear out and you see nothing wherever you look. This city would still be cool to visit, i am mainly writing this on my experience with living here. There are still some temples and mountains to climb near by, aswell as some cool sights to see.
I would never want to go back to this place, had enaugh in the 4 months i lived here. There is just not much of a life there, for me anyways. Oh and every second business here is a whore house, so it is a pretty exciting little town :| .... If you have any questions about this place just e-mail me and i will try to help as much as i can...
