Just across Charleston Harbor and the Cooper River from the historic city now spanned by the longest cable stayed bridge in North America, the lovely and historic town of Mount Pleasant is a much sought-after residential real estate address and the town has grown rapidly but because of carefully planning for development, has managed to preserve its rich heritage and small-town appeal.
