Northglenn has 23 unique neighborhood Parks, located throughout the community with a variety of amenities from basketball courts to picnic shelters to fishing. The enormous Sensory Playground offers a wide variety of unique activities for all ages, stages and abilities. Take a stroll on the Wavy Walk. Become an instant movie star on stage or watch as your loved ones put on a show for you. There are areas of the park specifically designed for every age group, ensuring fun for all. The Recreation Center is a 40,500 multi-purpose facility and is the home for our recreation programs and services. The recreation center consists of 4 multi-purpose rooms, gymnasium, weight room, pool, 2 racquetball courts, and a 300-seat performance theatre. The Northglenn Senior Organization plans activities, trips, educational programs and volunteer opportunities for its members. Membership is open to anyone 55 and older, resident and non-resident, and offers the opportunity to participate in sponsored functions. Northglenn Sensory Park

Northglenn
Northglenn is located nine miles north of Denver with a population of approximately 36,857. This community is a growing suburb in western Adams County and is an excellent place to live, work, shop or visit.
Recreational facilities include 550 acres of parks and open space, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, ball fields, and a recreation center.
The community is centrally located and near a wide range of sports and cultural activity. Our neighbor to the south is Denver, Boulder is to the west, Longmont is nested to our north and traveling to our community is convenient with Denver International Airport located east of the City. The City is partnering with active residents and facilitating the formation of Neighborhood Planning Groups. In these groups, residents will gather to identify areas of mutual concern on a neighborhood level, research and take action to achieve the desired results.
