Attractions to see:
Gladstan Golf Course
The 18-hole course is located near Elk Ridge. Natural oakbrush and pine trees dot the manicured course adding variety to the landscape. Both men's and women's golf associations hold tournaments throughout the golf season.
Peteetneet Academy
Peteetneet Academy was built in 1901,and was one of the first free schools in Utah. This beautiful building was abandoned in 1988 by the school district, and restoration began in 1989. The Academy's museum includes a unique 1901 classroom, a Victorian inner home, a historical and photo exhibit, and two art galleries.
Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum
The museum in Payson has a furnished log cabin and other pioneer relics from the last 150 years of Utah history.
Mt. Nebo National Loop Scenic Byway
Mt. Nebo is the highest mountain in the Wasatch mountain range at 11,928 ft.
Payson Lake
Payson Lake is a great spot for camping, fishing, and other outdoor recreation. It's located about 11 miles up the Mt. Nebo Loop.
Devil's Kitchen Geological Site
The Devils Kitchen hiking trail is an outstanding geological formation located up Payson Canyon. This short hike less then 1/4 mile long takes you through pines and quaking aspens and offers a beautiful view of a red rock formation.
Spring Lake Trout Farm
This 6 acre fishing spot has a four fish limit and is open from sunrise to sunset. Also great for canoing, tubing, and picnicking.
