Recognized for her commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment
for children, Denise Howard was presented a City Council Resolution
acknowledging her as a "Foster Mom Extraordinaire." Councilwoman Agnes
Welch presented the award to her, at Progressive Horizons' Annual Awards
Banquet at the Shiloh Christian Community Church Center on Tuesday, April
19. The awards banquet was graced with the presence of young jazz
saxophonist Art Sherrod Jr., Randy Dennis of Smooth Jazz WSMJ and Keith
Fisher of Magic 95.FM.
