Astec Underground is a new name in underground construction equipment.
At the same time, Astec Underground has very deep roots in the underground industry. The company's three product brands have decades-long histories of dependable service and productivity.
Established in 2002 as the newest member of Astec Industries' family of companies, Astec Underground manufactures American Angers horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and auger boring equipment, heavy-duty Trencor trenchers, and a comprehensive line of Astec utility directional drills, fluid systems, trenchers, vibratory plows, pipebursting systems, pneumatic piercing tools and related products.
