DENVER, Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Ascent Entertainment Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: GOAL) announced today that the sale of its sports-related businesses to The Sturm Group, Inc., a Denver based private investment firm owned by Donald L. Sturm, has been extended to a date no later than November 10, 1999.
