beazley grants of $620,000-plus to aid hospital, schools, camp.(Local)

The Beazley Foundation has approved more than $620,000 in grants for programs around the region.
More than two dozen local recipients will receive grants, including youth camps, a hospital and schools, both public and private.
The largest grant, $100,000, was given to the Bon Secours Maryview Foundation for a digital mammography machine.
A grant of $50,000 went to educational outreach work of the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, and $52,000 benefited the "Science Horizons" program of the Virginia Air and Space Center in Hampton.
