Mar. 29--Amid the hoopla surrounding Thursday's start of the state's educational lottery, the forgotten stepchild in the payout -- charter schools -- will have to wait on how the General Assembly rolls the dice in May's short session.Legislators didn't include the state's 100 charter schools, including Arapahoe Charter School, in the distribution plan for lottery revenues. Charter schools have requested that lawmakers include them, although a decision may not come before early 2007.
