FLUSHING, New York--A dominant display by Venus Williams proved to be too much for little sister Serena.
Venus Williams rode her explosive serve and steely consistency Saturday night to capture her second straight U.S. Open title with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over 1999 champion Serena Williams.
