Dubai

Dubai is currently under the microscope of the world.  Oil reserves are getting low, so the economy is changing very quickly in Dubai.  Ten years ago you would have seen vast deserts, but today you will see large resort-cities with revolutionary architecture and brand new landscapes.  Most notably, The World Islands of Dubai have become the masterpiece behind what Dubai is becoming.

Dubai will continue to grow in the years to come.  Keep an eye out - Do Buy, Dubai!

What's not to like about Dubai?  Recent construction on a large scale is turning Dubai into one of the fastest growing cities in the world, behind only large Chinese cities.

Since 2000, Dubai has attracted attention from the world with it's innovative real estate ideas, sporting events, and world conferences. 

A couple tidbits for you :

[1]  Experts "cautiosly" estimate that Dubai has 15%-25% of the worlds construction cranes on its soil. 

[2] Dubai oil reserves are expected to run out by 2010, so the local government is diversifying its its economy in order to bring in large corporations and and commerce.  Tourism will become huge in the coming years in Dubai.

I bet we'll be hearing alot about Dubai in the next couple years, with its most amazing man-made islands ("The World Islands of Dubai") expected to be completed in 2008.  Amazing stuff.
